I want to dye my cat's hair black for Halloween. Can someone help me?

I tried to dye it last week but all his hair fell out and now he looks like Mr. Bigglesworth.

I'm going to give him Rogaine to grow back the hair quickly and then use a different kind of hair dye. Does anybody have any suggestions for which dye I should use?

First off, talk to a vet before giving your cat rogaine, and secondly talk to the vet about dting the hair. They may have a solution. I wouldn't reccomend using any human hair dye on any pet

You should never had dyed your cat in the first place as the chemicals are toxic....the fact his hair fell out proves that, and instead of taking him directly to the vet you're going to compound your foolishness by giving the cat Rogaine??? BTW, food coloring is used on baby chicks for Easter. So, it IS possible to dye an animal's fur (or feathers) harmlessly.

I really don't think you should be dying your cat, it kind of abusive because they really don't like the water that has to get involved. I think you should go with hair extensions and a black semi-gloss spray paint, its more eco friendly and realistic. Oh oh don't forget to tape kitties eyes and nose! :)
