okay i just got my hair dye 'd last tuesday...

and sometimes in the shower the water is a tinted darkish color... (color of my hair) .... is this normal? i havnt been usuing color treated shampoo.. should i?

and if i striaghten my hair will the heat drain the color out of my hair?

and will mouse riun the color in my hair??

When your in the shower the dark colour is just the excess dye running out of your hair.

None of the things you said should damage your hair.

None of that should ruin your colored hair. Just try to use salon quality products on your hair. ( that means salon hair color too.) You shouldn't have a problem.

Did you use semi permanet hair dye? if you did it's going to continue to wash out.

You need to buy some color treated hair shampoo if you want the color to stay in.

Also when you dyed your hair maybe you didn't wash it all out.

You can straighten your hair that's fine. Just be sure to condition often.

Make sure you use a color-treated shampoo and conditioner. One like "Brilliant Brunette" , should work pretty well, which is usually cheap at walgreens. You should get a color treated hair gel, and a color-treated straightener, that way it doesn't ruin your hair color. If you trust the salon you go to, which i think you probably do, than you shouldn't have to do any of these things, but I would for safety reasons, a.k.a beauty reasons, lol. I hope this helped.
